Polstags is a new farmhouse with all the traditional characters on the North Cornwall Coast. Situated in an idyllic setting along a quiet country lane on the edge of our main working dairy farm. Wake up to a hearty cooked breakfast and enjoy fantastic views over looking the Cornish countryside and the Camel Estuary, which is a haven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts.
A comfortable guest lounge with an open fire also provides television and video. Polstags has a large garden where children can run and play as well as meeting the farm animals including the free-range ducks, chickens and goats with kids.
Guest accommodation includes a large family en-suite room consisting of one double and two single beds and a double en-suite room. Both have home comforts of television, radio and beverage trays. For younger families high chairs, cots and cot blankets are available.
Polstags is an ideal base to explore the stunning North Cornwall coastline. Polzeath and Rock beaches both family friendly are renowned for surfing, windsurfing and sailing are only a five-minute drive away. A short ferry crossing over the Camel Estuary from Rock takes you to the harbour of the quaint fishing town of Padstow, where Rick Stein’s delights can be sampled in his restaurant or bistro. |
